Diver practising buoyancy control during the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Malaga course.

PEAK PERFORMANCE BOUYANCY (PPB)

The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Malaga course is designed for divers who want to improve their underwater control, efficiency, and overall comfort. From your first descent, you learn how to fine‑tune your buoyancy so you can move smoothly, protect the environment, and enjoy more relaxed dives along the Malaga coastline. This specialty is ideal for both new and experienced divers who want to refine their skills and become more confident underwater.

During the course, your instructor helps you adjust your weighting, improve your trim, and use your breathing to control your position in the water. You will practise hovering, efficient finning techniques, and streamlined body positioning to glide effortlessly without disturbing the seabed. These skills also reduce air consumption, making every dive more enjoyable. Training takes place in real open‑water conditions, allowing you to apply your skills while exploring local marine life. The course is open to Open Water Divers and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating.
