The course focuses on precision, buoyancy control, and safe lifting procedures essential for real‑world recovery operations. During the course, you learn how to assess an object’s weight, choose the correct lift bag, and attach rigging securely. You will practise controlled inflation, maintain neutral buoyancy, and guide the object to the surface without losing stability.

You also learn how to avoid entanglement hazards, communicate effectively with your buddy, and manage unexpected challenges during recovery work. Training includes realistic underwater scenarios that build problem‑solving skills and situational awareness. By the end, you will feel confident performing safe and effective underwater lift bag recoveries.
