DRIFT DIVER

The PADI Drift Diver Malaga course teaches you how to dive confidently in currents while enjoying one of the most relaxing and exciting styles of scuba diving. Drift diving allows you to move effortlessly with the water, conserve energy, and explore more underwater terrain while observing marine life in a natural, stress‑free way. It’s the perfect specialty for divers who want to expand their skills and feel comfortable in dynamic environments.

During the course, you learn how to plan and conduct drift dives, use surface marker buoys (SMBs), and communicate clearly with your buddy and the dive team. Your instructor will guide you through safe entries and exits, buoyancy control while drifting, and how to stay close to your group without fighting the current.

Training takes place in real drift‑diving conditions around Malaga, giving you practical experience with local currents. This PADI Specialty is open to Open Water Divers and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating.
