The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the comprehensive pathway to become a certified diving instructor. Designed for certified divers ready to share their passion, the IDC blends theory, teaching methodology, and hands-on practice to prepare you for the Instructor Certification Exam (IE). Over the course, you’ll develop the skills, confidence, and leadership needed to teach diverse student groups, supervise real-world dives, and mentor future divers. The program combines classroom learning, confined-water sessions, and open-water teaching experiences, guided by experienced instructors who provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching.
